Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum

Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum Range

The Appleton Estate, a glorious and fertile land located in the heart of Jamaica, is the birthplace of all Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum. The employees at Appleton Estate have been crafting this rum with the warmth, passion, and unique sprit of Jamaica for over 265 years.

The Appleton Estate is nestled in the Nassau Valley which is located in Jamaica’s famous Cockpit Country – a unique and beautiful rugged terrain.  The Nassau Valley’s fertile soil, afternoon rain showers, and warm sunshine present the optimum conditions for growing sugar cane.

At the Appleton Estate the production of rum is a craft. Every step in the process is carefully controlled, from the selection of the varieties of sugar cane that are grown on the Estate, to the natural culture of yeast and the crystal clear water from the Estate’s spring that is used in fermentation, to our unique distillation and blending methods.

The beautifully complex and aromatic Appleton Estate rums are of a unique style, produced only in Jamaica, and only at the Appleton Estate. All Appleton Estate rum is produced on a single estate in a small circumscribed geographic area, which makes it one of the few rums in the world to claim a terroir (the sum of the effects that the local environment has on the production of the product), and the only rum in the world that has a terroir as unique as the Nassau Valley.
